LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. — Selected Independent Funeral Homes, in its first-ever virtual Annual Meeting, is pleased to bring together funeral service professionals from anywhere in the world, September 30-October 2.
For three dynamic days Selected will unite thought leaders, Preferred Partners and funeral service professionals from all over in an innovative and transformative format. Nonmembers are encouraged to participate in the Annual Meeting and gain access to premier educational sessions offering up to 10 continuing education (CE) credits. Selected had made the decision in July to pivot the 2020 Annual Meeting from an in-person event scheduled to take place in Montreal, Canada to a virtual experience after careful consideration from the Board of Directors in response to the ongoing coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and for the well-being of members, Preferred Partners and friends of Selected.
“Just as funeral service professionals have creatively tapped into technology to serve their client families, Selected will utilize innovative technology to create and deliver an enjoyable and impactful Annual Meeting,” said Arthur Erickson, Board President of Selected.
Selected is dedicated to continuing to provide high-quality, compelling education and a chance to network with members and Preferred Partners as in years past. The 2020 Annual Meeting will offer an opportunity for members and nonmembers, regardless of where they are, to connect in one place and time, while still adhering to state and local guidelines.
