With restrictions on gatherings and fear in the air, coming together with our community after a loved one passes away to remember, laugh, cry, and support one another seems difficult to say the least. The teams at LifeWeb 360 and New Narrative have co-created a free, step-by-step resource guide for funeral directors on how to create virtual gatherings to keep communities together during social distancing.

They’ve spent the last 2 weeks evaluating different off-the-shelf technologies for holding virtual end-of-life events such as virtual calling hours and virtual funeral receptions. The guide includes detailed instructions specifically for funeral directors with screenshots on using technology like Zoom video conferencing, as well as ideas for making virtual events feel truly special.
